The process of moving a home from one location to another is a subject Ethan Collier would rather not talk about. Evidently, post traumatic stress accompanies such a venture, and it is better left in the past where it belongs.
People are really asking, “How could the company survive with the owner out of the country for so long?” Before leaving, I asked myself the same question—how? How would the customers feel about it, how would the employees respond, how would the company continue bringing in contracts?
In the last several newsletters, I have intentionally avoided discussing the economy. It has most certainly been on my mind because we are dealing with a struggling housing market. When the market slows and houses aren’t moving, it does have an impact even on a custom home builder.
